The first international evening here at Dover campus was the European and American one. International evenings are always a grand affair with almost everyone from the boarding house getting up to dance and just have some fun. We had a lovely Czech waltz, the Danish scholars doing a sort of comedy act, an impromptu dance to a Canadian song and much, much more.
The second - Latino and African - International Evening was before we broke up for December break. After watching how amazing the first one was, we had more people willing to participate and be part of what Dover boarding is all about. The performances included traditional dances from all around Central and South American, the Gum Boot dance and the latinos singing really showing off all the talent we have.
A chance to show off your culture as well as indulge in new cultures, the international evenings represent how multi-cultural we are.
