Grade 11 Vs Below (Football)

An intense football match broke out in between the houses in UWCSEA Dover. Grade 11 boarders played against a team consisting of Grades 8,9 & 10. This was the third game of the series. The Grade 11's finally broke the deadlock by winning this match 7-5 on the 16th of February. The Previous two were organised last year when the current grade 10's won both the games in two hard fought battles. This years starting team for the younger team consisted of Vuth, Dhruv, Bryce,Ayush, Preston, Nikhil, Dongkuk, Vireak, Julian, Arjun, Alex and Vishrut.

The first goal was scored by Nikhil Bhardwaj with a classic finish. He pounced on the ball when he spotted a mistake from the opposing team's defender and scored to make the score 0-1. The Score stayed until half-time. Then the G11's took in charge and added 3 quick goals to make the score 3-1. The G10's and co. worked hard to finally make it up to 6-5 in the closing minutes. Despite the hard work, the G11's managed to score one more in the last 2 minutes to make the score 7-5. Another match is soon to be organised by the sports committee with a plan of having Mahindra Vs Senior. The Mahindra team would consist of all the Mahindra residents and G10 residents from Senior while the Seniors team would have all the older residents of Senior house.
